The year was 2008. Lexi was a baby. It was not the easiest of years, I had tried to get a photo of Lexi for her first holiday photo card and nothing was working the way I wanted it to and then Lexi got sick and we didn’t head home for the only Christmas of my life. And that was the last year I even attempted Holiday cards. It was all stress and no joy. And that’s when I made a revolutionary decision:
We send Valentines.
Yes! That’s what we do. Every single year the beginning of February our Valentines go out in the mail.
This is permission to not do cards – this is permission to switch it up to Valentines – this is permission to do it with joy if it’s still on your to do list or do it your way.
